Designed for use with a third hand for open turnbuckles and sold as a paired set. They keep the turn buckles apart to keep them from slipping toward each other for use with a third hand. We don't bother screwing these on and just use a little rigging tape. The center hole is useful for stowing a lashed rig tuning tool.
